The itinerary is subject to change. We will keep the standard high and the locations of interest included but their may be a need to re-route the tour based on the game schedules and availability.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 – June 21, 2027 - Depart USA | Overnight Flight

• Depart the USA for Lisbon, Portugal

• Overnight transatlantic flight

• Meals and refreshments served according to airline schedule

Day 2 – Arrive Lisbon | Transfer to Islantilla

• Arrive at Lisbon International Airport

• Meet your AIST/local tour representative

• Private coach transfer south to Islantilla

• Check into DoubleTree by Hilton Islantilla Beach Golf Resort 4★

• Free time to relax and enjoy the beach and resort

• Team welcome and orientation

• Welcome dinner at a local restaurant

• Overnight in Islantilla

Day 3 – Seville, Spain | Royal Alcázar

• Breakfast at hotel

• Depart for a day excursion to Seville, Spain

• Guided sightseeing through one of Spain's most beautiful and historic cities

• Visit the magnificent Royal Alcázar of Seville

• Free time to explore, shop, and enjoy the atmosphere of Seville

• Training Session or possible exhibition game.

• Return to Islantilla

• Dinner and overnight

Day 4 – Spain → Portugal | Zipline Border Crossing

• Breakfast at hotel

• Check out and depart Islantilla

• Travel toward the Spain–Portugal border

• Experience the incredible Zipline Border Crossing from Spain into Portugal

• Continue by private coach to the Lisbon area

• Check into Selected Lisbon area 4* Hotel

• Dinner and overnight

Day 5 – Discover Lisbon | Friendly Game

• Breakfast at hotel

• Guided half-day sightseeing tour of Lisbon

• Explore Lisbon's historic neighborhoods, landmarks, and scenic viewpoints

Day 6 – Portugal Basketball Festival | Tournament Day

• International basketball competition against participating teams

Important Notes:

Upgraded seats and deviations may not be possible depending on the airline policies for group travel.

Do not purchase any flights until AIST confirms the schedule about 4-5 months prior to departure.

To include airfare in your tour package, you must select the the add-on at check-out of your preferred option. Seats are limited at the quoted price, and if additional seats are needed, the cost may increase. Book early to secure your spot. Seats are limited and available to first come first serve. They can be added at another time if you prefer to check on booking your own flights but do not book any flights until AIST confirms a complete roster.

AIST International Team Experience

This program gives players the opportunity to represent their team internationally, compete against international opposition, experience two European countries, and build lasting memories together. From tournament basketball in Portugal to Seville, Lisbon, Sintra, the Atlantic coast, and even crossing an international border by zipline, the Lisbon Basketball Festival Tour delivers much more than just basketball.

The prices below are based on the following conditions:

• 7 night Ground package

• Cost is quoted per person

• Ground Package cost only - Airfare is available separately with a group flight option - or you can purchase on your own

• Minimum 15 paying passengers for prices below

• Cost is subject to change until deposit and registration is received

• Discounts available if deposited before June 1, 2026 for players ($500) and for Friends and family ($250) until November 1, 2026. (MUST use discount codes before June 1 for player discounts)

• $500 deposit due to confirm - Refundable until Nov 1, 2026

• 6-7 months prior to departure - about 30% of total due

• 5 months prior to departure - 50% of the total cost land and air due

• About 2 months prior to departure all balances will be due and non-refundable

Cancellation fees will be kept to a minimum. However, in the event of you having to cancel part, or all your arrangements within the following, the below cancellation conditions apply. Airfare cancellation policies are separate and vary from carrier to carrier.

• The initial deposit is non-refundable ($500 per person) after November 1, 2026

• 130 – 61 days prior to departure 50%-75% of total cost land an air will be non-refundable

• 60 – Days prior to departure there will be no refunds

• Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be given. This includes any unused portion of the tour.

• WeTravel Processing fees are non-refundable (Consider Payment by Check to avoid processing fees)

REPLACEMENT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION: If a pre-enrolled participant cannot travel for any reason, a substitute may be sent in his/her place. We must receive the name of the replacement participant at least 15 days before the teams departure. If a replacement cannot be sent the Cancellation and Refund Policy stated above will be applied.

Airfare cancellation and refund policies vary by airline.

• Confirm availability of your preferred position on the travel roster

• Confirmation email will be sent within 24-48 hours not unless over a weekend or holiday. If you do not hear from us within 3 days please follow up by email

• No commitment is required - we only need the position form to check the roster and allow you the opportunity to hold a spot on the roster

• Once we are able to confirm your position = a $500 deposit is due and fully refundable until NOVEMBER 1, 2026 (cancel for any reason for full refund, less WeTravel processing fees of 3%)
